  5. You need 2 cup of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese.
  6. Prepare 1/4 cup of Bacon Bits.

Easy Sausage Mac & Cheese Casserole step by step

  1. Start boiling 2 quarts of water in medium sized pot.
  2. Also start boiling 4 quarts of water in large stock pot.
  3. Brown sausage in pan.
  4. once boiling add browned sausage links to medium pot boiling water and cook until internal temp reaches 160°F.
  5. once boiling add pasta to large pot boiling water, reduce heat and cook until aldente.
  6. pre heat oven to 350°F.
  7. Once sausage is finished remove from pot and slice sausage.

  13. Mix cheddar and mozzarella then layer on top of pasta in casserole dish.
  14. cook in oven at 350 for 10 minutes or until cheese is evenly melted.
  15. Turn oven on broil for 5 minutes or until cheese is golden brown.
  16. Allow at least 10 minutes to cool before serving.
